The Blue Room

 

A spacious double room at the far end of the house, the Blue Room has an en suite bathroom with bath and handheld shower and heated towel rail. All towels and a small selection of toiletries are provided. There is also a TV, trouser press and coffee and tea making facilities in the room, as well as wifi.

 

£70.00 per night/£50.00 single occupancy

this includes a continental breakfast (croissants, toast, crumpets, Fruit bread, bagels, cereals, fruit, yoghurt). A full English Breakfast is available for a £5.00 pp supplement.

 

Between May and September a £10.00 surcharge will be added for single night bookings at weekends. (Friday/Saturday nights)

The Green Room

 

A spacious triple room for single, double or triple occupancy. Ideal for small family or friends travelling together, this room is large and bright and has a wash basin in the room, TV, coffee and tea making facilities, free wifi and a private bathroom with handheld shower.

 

£70.00 per night/£50.00 single occupancy and £20 supplement for third person including a continental breakfast as before. A full English Breakfast is available for a £5 pp supplement.

The Dining Room

 

Where guests can enjoy a buffet style, continental breakfast including a choice of cereals, porridge, croissants, bread rolls, fruit bread, crumpets, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and a variety of jams, marmalade and honey. For a £5.00 supplement a full English Breakfast can also be provided.

 

Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.30am but if you need to breakfast outside these hours please speak to us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Payments

Payment is by cash or cheque, or prior to stay via Paypal or BACS transfer - please call for details. Bookings made more that two weeks in advance may be secured by a 20% deposit, payable by BACS, which will be deducted from your final bill.

Please note that in peak season (May to September inclusive), one-night bookings at weekends will carry a £10.00 surcharge.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before booked arrival will carry a 20% charge. Prior to 24 hours there will be no charge and deposits will be returned less any bank charges.

 

Check-in

We prefer it if our guests arrive after 4pm but can be flexible with prior notice. Check out is by 11.00am on the day of departure.

 

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.30am - if you require breakfast outside these hours we will do our best to accommodate you - please just let us know the night before. On offer are a range of cereals, porridge (please let me know the night before) fruit, yoghurt, a variety of bakery products (crumpets, croissants, bagels, fruit bread, toast), fresh coffee and tea, fresh fruit juice. A Full English breakfast is available for an additional £5.00 which will consist of a choice of bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and for Vegetarians we offer a vegetarian sausage option. Please let us know the night before if you would like a cooked breakfast.

 

Rooms

Your room will be serviced daily and linen and towels will be changed every fourth day on extended visits. We reserve the right to enter the rooms for maintenance purposes.

We have internet access throughout the house via wifi and we can arrange for a powerline cable for laptops if required.

An Iron and hairdryer can be supplied on request. Laundry facilities are not available - there is a launderette in the Market Place. However, in emergencies we will always try to help.

Basic toiletteries are available in the bathrooms - if you forget something then please just ask.

We would ask that any breakages or damage to our property is reported to us immediately. We will not make any charge for small, accidental damage, but larger, more extreme damage will be invoiced.

 

Unfortunately we cannot provide evening meals but we will be happy to tell you all about the many and varied eateries available within walking distance of the house.

 

We have a dog and would therefore prefer no pets, however, if you have a well-behaved pet who you really can't leave behind, then please talk to us and we will try to accommodate you!

 

Castle Grounds House is a comfortable family home. We are a professional couple who both work in Devizes and our children are away at school. We look forward to welcoming you and to making your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
